Azerbaijan Institute of Tourism, Mugla Sitki Kocman University sign protocol of cooperation
Baku, November 21 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan Tourism Institute and Turkish Mugla Sitki Kocman University have signed a protocol of cooperation.
The document was inked by rector of Azerbaijan Tourism Institute Jafar Jafarov and rector of Mugla Sitki Kocman University Mansur Harmandar.
Speaking prior to the signing ceremony, Jafarov highlighted the Tourism Institute`s history and activities, particularly international relations.
Jafarov noted Azerbaijan Tourism Institute was cooperating with different foreign higher schools and international organizations.
“ATI attaches great emphasis to bilateral agreements and student and teacher exchange, as well as to conducting joint researches and projects with Mugla Sitki Kocman University as well,” he said.
Harmandar spoke of Mugla Sitki Kocman University`s activities.
“Today, the young but rapidly developing University has thirteen faculties, four graduate schools, twelve schools, sixteen vocational schools, and research centres. In recent years, Mugla University has considerably speeded up efforts towards establishing and maintaining strong international relations with universities and organisations in other countries on scientific, academic, social, and cultural levels.”
He noted: “Mugla University has scientific and cultural cooperation protocols with various higher educational institutions in such countries as Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, and the USA.
