Azerbaijan joins EMİTT-2013
Istanbul, January 25 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan attends the EMITT 2013 – East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition which kicked off on Thursday in Istanbul, Turkey.
Azerbaijan is represented by employees of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), tourism companies, such as “SW travel”, “ATA travel”, “Millennium Tourism and Congress”, “The tour”, “Gilan tourism”, “Sultan travel”, “Geo travel”, “Regea travel”, hotels “Chinar Hotel and Spa Naftalan", “Jumeirah Bilgah Beach hotel”, “Divan Express hotel”, “Fairmont Baku”, “My way hotel”.
Azerbaijan`s 70sq m-pavilion featured the presentation through special advertising printed materials in Turkish and English languages on the country`s tourism objects.
Azerbaijani representatives hold meetings with visitors and participants of the exhibition.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Turkish minister of Culture and Tourism Ertuğrul Gunay said that with the help of EMITT which will be held for 17th time this year, Turkey is proud to host one of the most important events of the region even in Europe with its increasing number of participants.
“The number of visitors exceeded by 12 percent in 2012 when compared to last year and therefore EMITT Exhibition is a very essential point of meeting by gathering 150 city and touristic locations and 4500 participants from 62 countries.
Having Argentina as a guest country in EMITT exhibition in which a different country is hosted each year is in harmony with world trends and also with our introduction strategy and policies which we shape accordingly,” he added.
