Azerbaijan Ombudsman Institute`s representative attends international conference in Wales

Baku, July 8 (AZERTAC). An international conference entitled “A Child`s World -Working Together for a Better Future” has been organized by the Aberystwyth University in Wales.

Advisor at the Ombudsman Institute of Azerbaijan Nigar Shabiyeva participated in the conference. She made a report on ensuring participation of children and youth in the process of protection of their rights.

Shabiyeva also briefed the participants on the activity of the Ombudsman Institute of Azerbaijan to protect and promote human rights. She noted the Azerbaijani Ombudsperson plays special emphasis on enlightenment works on human rights.

The conference, brought together representatives of universities of various countries, international organizations and research centers, was devised to frame new concepts in collaborative practice in childhood studies against social, legislative and organizational changes within an international strategic dimension.
