Azerbaijan promotes its tourism at EMITT exhibition
Istanbul, January 31 (AZERTAC). An Azerbaijani delegation is participating in the East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition EMITT-2014 in Istanbul, Turkey.
Azerbaijan`s pavilion at the event showcases the country`s culture, its historical monuments, material and non-material cultural heritage.
The EMITT Exhibition is being held for the fifteenth time. In 2012, the exhibition attracted 4000 participants from 60 countries and almost completely filled the available rooms at the TÜYAP Exhibition space.
The EMITT Exhibition, open to tourism professionals during the first two days and open to the public during the last two, is the only exhibition in the region that, despite the economic crisis, increased 25 percent compared to the prior year in 2011 and 10 percent compared to the prior year in 2012.
The exhibition will last till Sunday.
