Azerbaijan represented at international conference organized in Kingdom of Cambodia
Baku, February 5, AZERTAC
A delegation led by Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Nazim Samadov is participating at the conference on "World Conference on Tourism and Culture: Establishment of a new partnership", organized by the World Tourism Organization and UNESCO in Cambodian city of Siem Reap.
According to the Ministry, Taleb Rifai, Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization, Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO, Cambodia's King Norodom Sihamoni and Prime Minister Hun Sen, culture and tourism ministers and other senior officials from about 50 countries attend the event.
Discussions on determination of opportunities for joint cooperation in the field of economic growth, social development, protection of tourism and culture are held at the conference.
The conference to last till February 6 creates more favorable conditions for investigation of problems and cooperation in the field of culture and tourism.
