AZERBAIJAN UNIVERSITY OF LANGUAGES ORGANIZES EVENT ON JAPANESE CULTURE
Baku, April 9 (AZERTAC). An event dedicated to the Japanese culture took place in Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) within the “Intercultural dialogue” program.
Japan`s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Masamitsu Oki said the economic and cultural relations between the two countries are highly developing. He said visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Japan in 2006 gave an impulse to development of political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries.
Rector of AUL, Chairman of Milli Majlis Committee on international and interparliamentary relations Samad Seyidov said Japan is known not only by its powerful economy but also its traditions and democratic values. He said such events will play a positive role in boosting cooperation.
A video clip on the two countries` history, culture, languages and traditions was demonstrated.
