AZERBAIJANI DELEGATION ATTENDS BOLOGNA PROCESS CONFERENCE
Baku, March 13 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani delegation participated in a conference to mark the 10th anniversary of Bologna process.
Ministers of the now 47 countries participating in the Bologna Process adopted the Budapest-Vienna Declaration and officially launched the European Higher Education Area ten years ago.
Azerbaijan`s Education Minister Misir Mardanov said Azerbaijan joined the Bologna process in 2005. The Ministry of Education closely cooperates with European Committee on Culture, Science and Education, UNESCO and European Commission to successfully carry out the Bologna process in Azerbaijan, said Minister.
The Conference of the European Higher Education Area Ministers was followed by a meeting with Ministers from different parts of the world in the Second Bologna Policy Forum on "Building the Global Knowledge Society: Systemic and Institutional Change in Higher Education" that was concluded with the Vienna Bologna Policy Forum Statement.
