Azerbaijani, Hungarian youth meet to discuss strengthening relations
Baku, April 9 (AZERTAC). Representatives of Azerbaijan`s and Hungary`s youth organizations held a meeting to discuss the ways of strengthening relations on the sidelines of the forum of the Azerbaijani Students and Alumni International Forum (ASAIF) under the motto “I am a young ambassador” in Budapest.
In his opening remarks Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Hungary Vilayat Guliyev briefed the attendees on the youth projects carried out. He underlined that progress achieved in the relevant field create `new and ample` opportunities for the youth organizations.
An advisor of the Embassy Anar Imanov highlighted the importance of views and experience exchange and mutual meetings for boosting ties among the youth.
Then young people from both countries discussed the projects implemented by the youth organizations. The Azerbaijani representatives exchanged views on country`s partnership opportunities as part of projects to be realized in the field of business development with the representatives of Christian Democrat Organization of Hungary, country`s Ministry for Social, Family and Youth Affairs and other youth organizations.
Ambassador Guliyev handed over a book “Azerbaijan through the eyes of Hungarian youth” to the participants. The book features essays by the “What do I know about Azerbaijan?” essay competition winners.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of Ministry of Youth and Sport, “Irali” public union, Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations` Union, National Council of Youth Organizations, Azerbaijan Youth Euro-integration Organization, Azerbaijan Students Union and other organizations.
