Azerbaijan`s tourism potential showcased in Kuwait
Baku, March 30 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Culture and Tourism presented a special exposition at the Al-Kuwait International Tourism Exhibition started on Tuesday. The event is held within the framework of the “2011-Tourism Year” in the country announced by the Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev.
The Azerbaijan`s stand presented by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism featured information about the country`s ancient history, reach culture, nature, customs, rapid development of the economy, huge tourism potential, photos, video films and others, according to Azerbaijan Embassy in Kuwait.
Kuwait `s deputy minister of Commerce and Industry Abdul Aziz al-Khalidi visited Azerbaijan`s pavilion in the exhibition.
Azerbaijani ambassador in Kuwait Tural Rzayev informed the Deputy Minister on the ancient history of the country.
In his turn, Kuwaiti deputy minister described the exhibition as a platform for popularizing Azerbaijan`s reach tourism potential.
The exhibition will last four days.
