Azeri delegation attend Global Travel and Tourism Summit
Baku, May 20 (AZERTAC). Azeri delegation led by the Minister of Tourism and Culture of Azerbaijan Abulfas Garayev attended the 11th Global Travel and Tourism Summit in Las-Vegas on May 17-19.
The summit focused on new development prospects for tourism industry, infrastructure projects and innovative technologies, the role of the tourism sector in economic development and so on.
Azeri minister met with Tadatoshi Mamiya, President of the National Tourism Organization of Japan, Ju Shancong, vice president of China National Tourism Administration, as well as, Ahmed Babkier, Sudan`s Antiquities and Tourism Minister as a part of the summit.
Abulfas Garayev gave interview to ITAR-TASS and Breaking Travel News agencies.
The Global Travel and Tourism Summit is an annual World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) gathering for both public and private sector leaders of travel and tourism. The Summit aims to facilitate meaningful dialogue among the world`s travel and tourism industry and government leaders.
