Baku hosts celebration of 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan diplomatic relations

Baku, June 9 (AZERTAC). An event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan diplomatic relations has been held today here.

The event started with performance of Azerbaijani and Turkmen anthems.

Azerbaijan`s minister of culture and tourism Abulfaz Garayev and Turkmen ambassador Toyli Komekov delivered speeches at the event, stressing importance of bilateral relations between the two countries.

The event also featured awarding ceremony for winners of the competition entitled “The Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan relations, example of friendship and brotherhood”.

Art figures of Turkmenistan performed at the event.
