Eurovision-2012 winner Loreen: The people of Azerbaijan are very friendly

Baku, May 27 (AZERTAC). Swedish Loreen, who won the Eurovision-2012 song contest in Baku, has praised the hospitality of the Azerbaijani people.

“I loved the people of Azerbaijan, they are very friendly,” she told a press conference right after being crowned Europe's favorite with her song Euphoria.

Lorine Zineb Noka Talhaoui, better known by her stage name Loreen, is a pop singer and music producer.

She became known to Swedish audiences after taking part in the Swedish Idol 2004 competing as Lorine Talhaoui. She was initially picked as a wildcard by the judges to join the singing competition.

The Swedish singer also hailed the Azerbaijani cuisine, saying “the food in the country is great as well”.

She thanked the host Azerbaijan for excellent organization of the contest.
