Female wrestler Omelchenko becomes champion of 4th Islamic Solidarity Games

Baku, May 21, AZERTAC

Azerbaijani female wrestler Tetiana Omelchenko has earned her country a gold medal of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games as she climbed on to the highest platform of the winner`s rostrum in the 60kg division. She secured the medal after beating Turkish Gamze Nur Adakan.

Cameroonian Joseph Emilienne Essombe Tiako scooped a bronze medal.
