First secretary of US embassy visits Azerbaijan Institute of Tourism
Baku, July 25 (AZERTAC). First secretary of the US embassy to Azerbaijan Roger Rigaud has visited the Azerbaijan Institute of Tourism to meet its rector, professor Jafar Jafarov.
According to the press service of the Institute, Rigaud, who started his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan a year ago, expressed interest to activity of the Institute.
Jafarov, in turn, informed the US diplomat on the activity, strategy for development and international relations of the Institute.
The rector has also briefed Rigaud on the dual diploma program with the Austrian IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems in the levels of bachelor and master.
Jafarov said the employees of the Institute have passed training courses at the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI).
They also discussed cooperation among the tourism institutions and universities of the two countries.
