FM Catherine Colonna: France wants peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia

“France wants peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia. It is important to prevent clashes. Azerbaijan is making efforts towards a peace agreement and we welcome it. The path to peace is a difficult one, it requires patience and restraint. Future plans should also be developed in this regard,” said Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic Catherine Colonna at a joint press conference with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
"Azerbaijan and Armenia should recognize each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty. A peace agreement should to be reached within the next few years. We would like the negotiations to be productive," Catherine Colonna noted.
