Gurer gets another gold for Turkey

Sharpshooter Nihan Gurer dominated the 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games women's trap final in Baku on Saturday to bag Turkey's second gold of the day after Omer Akgun in the men's 10-metre air rifle competition.
Gurer, who represented Turkey at the 2012 London Olympics, took a comfortable early lead with just three misses in her first 25 shots, and never looked back.
She finished with 41 points, four more than second-placed Shafag Amrahova of Azerbaijan.
Qatar's Khouloud Hassan Al Khalaf settled for the bronze a further eight points adrift.
