Istanbul hosts 18th Turkish World Children Festival

Azeri children song and dance ensemble is participating in the 18th Turkish World Children Festival in Kadikoy Square of Istanbul.

The festival is organized by the Foundation for the Turkic World Research (TDAV).

Song and dance groups from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Turkish Cyprus, Russia Federation, Tatarstan, Iran, Iraq, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Kosovo and Ukraine are participating in the festival.

The opening ceremony featured a march of children who came from Turkish speaking countries with national flags in their hands in Kadikoy District of Istanbul.

The Chairman of the Foundation of Research on the Turkic World (TDAV) Prof. Dr. Turan Yazgan attended the opening ceromony of the festival and spoke about the significance of the event.
