“MAN WHO DEFINED THE EPOCH”
The books includes articles of the Oliy Majlis /Parliament/ deputy of Uzbekistan, full member of the Academy of Sciences, doctor of economic sciences, professor Murad Sharifkhojayev and doctor of juridical sciences Fakhri Rahimov published for recent years in the “Trud” newspaper.
The authors dedicate this edition to the 13th anniversary of Uzbekistan.
Speaking at the ceremony Abdulgafur Abdurrahmanov, the first vice-premier of Azerbaijan Abbas Abbasov, chief of the socio-political department of the Presidential administration Ali Hasanov dwelt upon President Islam Karimov’s services and noted that Uzbekistan had achieved much for the passed years.
The book reflects the process of the national revival, and state building and historical path passed by Uzbekistan.
Speaking of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan relations, the speakers noted that nationwide leader President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov had made significant contributions to strengthening of bilateral relations. They expressed confidence that this policy would be continued by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev who is to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan.
