MONITORING CONNECTED WITH VIRUS OF “BIRD FLU” UNDERWAY IN AZERBAIJAN
Baku, 28 December (AZERTAC). Regular monitoring connected with the virus of “bird flu” started on 21 December continues in separate regions in Azerbaijan, State Veterinary Service (SVS) under the Ministry of Agriculture said.
The monitoring passes on Absheron Peninsula, in national parks and reserves of Devechi, Salyan, Agjabedi and Lankaran regions, and also in coastal zones of republic and involve experts of the ministries of ecology and natural resources, public health services, the Hunters Association. Monitoring will end on 30 December.
SVS brings to notice of the population that during migration of birds of passage their domestic species should contain in the closed conditions.
Currently, appropriate structures take necessary steps in this regard.
