Mukhtar Babayev, Spanish Minister discuss COP29’s role in climate finance

Mukhtar Babayev, COP29 President and Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Climate Issues, held a bilateral meeting with Sara Aagesen Muñoz, Spanish Minister for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, on the sidelines of the 4th UN Global Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) in Seville.
The parties discussed opportunities for climate action and development to mutually support each other, as well as the role of COP29 in advancing progress on climate finance.
