AC30 participants tour Azerbaijan’s National Hydrometeorological Service

Participants of the 30th meeting of the Adaptation Committee (AC30) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) visited Azerbaijan’s National Hydrometeorological Service.
They toured the service’s Situation Center and Hydrometeorology Museum, where they were briefed on the reception, processing, transmission and exchange of hydrometeorological data.
During the visit, presentations were delivered on Azerbaijan’s experience in climate change adaptation, enhancing climate resilience and developing early warning systems for hydrometeorological events. The participants were also informed about the work carried out in Azerbaijan, followed by an exchange of views and experience on improving early warning systems, effectively utilizing climate data, and adapting to the impacts of climate change.
