PROMINENT KAZAKH POET VISITS BAKU
Baku, 18 December (AZERTAC). Kazakh prominent poet, scientist, social and political figure Oljas Suleymenov is visiting Baku. As known, the Kazakh writer takes part at the “Words without Borders” Forum dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Union of Writers.
The honorary guest today was welcomed at the Baku State University. At the meeting with Oljas Suleymenov, a great friend of Azerbaijan, rector of the Baku Branch of the Lomonosov State University (Moscow) Nargiz Pashayeva spoke of his extraordinary creativity, reminding Suleymenov`s legendary works still in the 70s past century, in the soviet era.
Expressing gratitude for cordial words, Suleymenov said such meetings promote expansion of relations among the men of literature and culture.
