Prosecutor General of Mongolia visits Azerbaijan`s National Aviation Academy

A meeting with students from the Faculty of Economics and Law has been held at the National Aviation Academy (NAA), featuring the participation of the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, Kamran Aliyev, and the Prosecutor General of Mongolia, Jargalsaikhan Banzragch.
Prior to the session, the Mongolian delegation familiarized itself with the Academy’s educational facilities, including flight simulators, training equipment, and the modern conditions established for students.
Addressing the event, First Vice-Rector of the National Aviation Academy, Professor Adalat Samadov, provided an overview of the Academy's aviation programs and highlighted the significant role of the Faculty of Economics and Law. He noted that the Academy’s law graduates are highly sought-after professionals who frequently undertake internships at various government bodies, where they are consistently well-received. The Vice-Rector also emphasized the Prosecutor General’s Office’s active support in training qualified specialists at the Academy.
Highlighting the legal cooperation between the two nations, Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev stated: “The meeting with my Mongolian counterpart marks the opening of a new chapter in legal cooperation between Azerbaijan and Mongolia. In accordance with the instructions of the President of Azerbaijan, the Prosecutor General’s Office is establishing intensive partnerships with the law enforcement authorities worldwide. These ties are developing successfully both bilaterally and within international platforms, including the Organization of Turkic States, the Economic Cooperation Organization, the Commonwealth of Independent States, the European Union, and the International Association of Prosecutors .”
He underscored the vital importance of international collaboration in providing prompt and efficient legal assistance during investigative actions for specific criminal cases, stressing that joining forces is essential for the law enforcement authorities to combat global criminal networks.
Reflecting on the reciprocal visits of both countries’ law enforcement delegations in 2024 and 2025, Kamran Aliyev described the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation, signed between the two Prosecutor General’s Offices on May 6, 2026, as a logical conclusion of these contacts. He also expressed confidence that the document would facilitate expertise sharing and the advancement of the legal systems in both countries, noting the similarities in their judicial structures and the roles of their respective prosecution services.
Professor Aykhan Rustamzade, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law at the National Aviation Academy, briefed participants on the faculty’s activities. He noted that its primary objective is to develop a human resource base aligned with the rapid development dynamics and future prospects of the Azerbaijani economy. It was emphasized that graduates of the faculty are currently employed in various state institutions, law enforcement bodies, as well as leading local and international companies.
