“TAMIZ SHEHER” REPS PARTICIPATE IN WASTE AND CLIMATE CONFERENCE IN COPENHAGEN
Baku, December 21 (AZERTAC). Representatives of the “Tamiz Sheher” (Clean City) joint-stock company attended a waste and climate conference held as a prelude to the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 7-18 December 2009. The intention of the “side event” is to present the main messages on how intelligent waste management plays an important role in the efforts to reduce the climate change.
Representatives of the company made presentation on solid waste management in Azerbaijan.
They mentioned a waste-to-energy plant is being constructed in Baku. This solid waste incineration and energy recovery facility will be built by the French company CNIM
