TURKEY ALWAYS SUPPORTS FRATERNAL AZERBAIJAN, KARSLIOGLU

Turkey has always been supporting fraternal Azerbaijan, said the country`s ambassador in Baku Huseyin Avni Karslioglu at a press conference dedicated to the 16th anniversary of establishment of Azerbaijan-Turkey official relations.

He said “relations between the two states are expanding”, and stressed Turkey has always been backing “friendly and fraternal” Azerbaijan`s stance. Karslioglu praised Azerbaijan`s successes in last few years.

The Turkish envoy pointed to successful implementation of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipelines projects, and said the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad project is also considered to be a success.

He stressed both Azerbaijan and Turkey have big potential to increase trade to $3 billion.
