UNWTO to hold 2nd regional seminar in Baku
Baku, November 5 (AZERTAC). The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) will hold the second regional seminar in Baku within the "Program of improvement of knowledge of tourism statistics for 2011-12".
The Ministry of Culture & Tourism informs that the Memorandum of Understanding within the program was signed by Azerbaijan and UNWTO on 23 March in Madrid, Spain.
The seminar will be held in Baku on November 7-9. The event will bring together representatives from Georgia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the Central Bank and the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan, officials and experts from UNWTO.
The 1st UNWTO seminar on statistics was held in Baku on November 22-25, 2011.
