650,000 trees to be planted in Azerbaijan on December 6

As part of the Year of Nasimi, 650,000 trees will be planted in Azerbaijan on December 6, head of press-service of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Irada Ibrahimova told AZERTAC.
She noted that on the initiative of Azerbaijan`s First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, 650,000 trees will be planted in the country in one day to mark the 650th birthday anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Imadeddin Nasimi.
“A unique event will take place in the country under the motto “Make your contribution towards conservation of nature”: planting 650,000 trees in one day,” she said.
