Anniversary of Niyazi and Fikrat Amirov marked in Dushanbe

Baku, June 20 (AZERTAC). A concert program devoted to the 90th anniversary of the prominent Azerbaijani musicians, maestro Niyazi and composer Fikrat Amirov was held in Tajikistan`s capital, Dushanbe.

The concert organized at the Tajikistan Opera and Ballet Theatre was held with the accompaniment of the Tajik symphonic orchestra.

Azerbaijani mugam master, People`s artist Mansum Ibrahimov, as well as conductor, honored art master Yalchin Adigozalzade, Honored artists Elchin Hashimov and Elnur Ahmadov performed during the concert.

Fikrat Amirov`s “Shur”, maestro Niyazi`s “Rast” symphonic mugams, at the same time plays by Haji Khanmammadov and Vasif Adigozalov aroused interest of the Tajik audience.

The event was widely broadcasted via Tajikistan state Television.
