Azerbaijan`s Defense Ministry: Armenian servicemen refuse to fight

Servicemen of the Armenian Armed Forces, which have heavily suffered in various directions of the front in recent days, refuse to fight, Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Defense said.
“As servicemen of the reserve units of the 543rd Regiment refused to go to Nagorno-Karabakh, villagers were involved in the fighting. At the same time, local residents closed some roads in protest of their children's participation in the fighting,” the ministry said.
“Relatives and acquaintances call the servicemen in the defense zone north of Hadrut and in the defense area of the 5th Destroyer Regiment in Aghdara, and urge them to lay down their weapons and retreat. The units also reported a shortage of food, fuel and ammunition,” the ministry added.
