Azeri ambassador meets Kuwaiti parliament speaker

Baku, March 21 (AZERTAC). Kuwaiti parliament speaker Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Sadun has received Azerbaijan`s ambassador Tural Rzayev.

The ambassador hailed the relations between Azerbaijan and Kuwait as friendly and fraternal.

He noted an official visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Kuwait in 2009 opened a new page in the history of the two countries` ties.

The ambassador praised the cooperation between the parliaments.

Rzayev also highlighted the history and consequences of Armenia`s military aggression against Azerbaijan, and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Al-Sadun said Kuwait always supported Azerbaijan`s just position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, its territorial integrity and inviolability of borders.

The Kuwaiti parliament speaker said he would work to contribute to developing bilateral cooperation in all areas.

He also invited his Azerbaijani counterpart Ogtay Asadov to pay an official visit to Kuwait.
