Baku hosts 5th Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum

The 5th Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum began in Baku on September 11, with the participation of Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and Türkiye’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar.
The forum will feature discussions on a wide range of areas, including hydrocarbons and petrochemicals, energy efficiency, the electricity market, renewable energy, regulation, mining, and other topics.
The event will conclude with a media briefing.
The Azerbaijan–Türkiye Energy Forum was established within the framework of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the two countries with the aim of further strengthening strategic energy cooperation. The inaugural forum took place in Baku on December 21–22, 2021, followed by the second in Istanbul on October 5–6, 2022, the third in Nakhchivan on September 28–29, 2023, and the fourth in Izmir on September 4, 2025.
