Belt and Road CEO Conference ends with signing $97.2bln worth agreements

The participants of the Belt and Road CEO Conference signed cooperation agreements worth $97.2 billion. This was stated by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the opening ceremony of the 3rd High-Level Belt and Road Forum in Beijing, Kazinform News Agency reports.
“The CEO Conference held during the forum saw the conclusion of agreements worth 97.2 billion U.S. dollars,” said Xi Jinping.
According to him, China will continue to deepen cooperation in green infrastructure, green energy and green transport, and will enhance support for the Belt and Road Initiative International Green Development Coalition.
3rd High-Level Belt and Road Forum was held in Beijing from October 17 to 18, gathering over 4,000 delegates from more than 140 countries.
More than 150 countries and over 30 international organizations have signed cooperation documents during the forum.
