According to estimations by November 1, 2003, 3128,2 billion credits have been invested in Azerbaijan economy and it is, according to the National Bank, by 20,3 percent more than that by January 1. 284,7 billion manat (9,1 percent) falls to the share of repaid credits.

2321,9 billion manat (74,2 percent) is short-term credits while 806,3 billion manat (25,8 percent) is long-term ones. 208,7 billion manat (9,4 percent) out of those short-term and 76 billion (10,3 percent) out of long-term ones are repaid credits.

The state banks have invested 1291,5 billion manat (41,3 percent) credits, private banks - 1477,6 billion manat (47,2 percent) while non-banking organizations – 359,1 billion (11,5 percent).

Bank with foreign share have invested 390,4 billion while 100 percent foreign banks – 96,7 billion.

1108,2 billion credits (35,4 percent) have been invested in terms of manat, while 2020 billion manat (64,6 percent) in foreign currency. 635,6 billion manat of all allocated credits have been directed to the state sector, 2492,6 billion manat (79,7 percent) to private sector.
