The evacuation of foreign nationals via the Astara border checkpoint continues.
Currently, nearly 20 Pakistani citizens and two Tajik citizens have crossed through the mentioned border checkpoint and been evacuated. Their safe entry into the country's territory has been ensured.
The documents of the evacuated foreign nationals have been checked, registration has been carried out, and where necessary, they have received initial medical examinations. Relevant state agencies' personnel have taken all necessary measures to ensure their safe and orderly passage.
The process is being conducted under the supervision of the relevant state institutions in accordance with established procedures. Security measures at the checkpoint have been strengthened, document checks, registration, and escort services are being organized promptly, and the evacuation process continues without interruption.
