French singer gives open-air concert in Ichari Shahar

Baku, June 22 (AZERTAC). French singer Batlik gave a concert on Thursday, which was co-organized by French Embassy in Azerbaijan and the Department of State Historical and Architectural Reserve Ichari Shahar in Gosha Gala Gapisi (Twin Gates).

“21 June is a day of music in France and in this day, numerous free concerts in concert halls and at the streets are being held, the music of various genres is being sung, people dance and have fun,” Batlik told journalists before the performance.

At this time, the holiday was celebrated with the miraculous open-air concert of French singer Batlik in the historical place of Baku.

Expressing his admiration for Azerbaijani classic music and Ichari Shahar, Batlik recalled his visit to Guba region of Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani rock and rap singers also performed in the concert.
