IDEA demonstrates another film as part of Eco Cinema project

Baku, June 28 (AZERTAC). IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Campaign launched in July 2011 by Vice President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva, is successfully continuing the project Eco Cinema, which is the first and unique in Azerbaijan. Biweekly environmental movie screening and subsequent discussions are supposed to be held in the framework of “Eco Cinema” project.

The world known environment related documentaries, one of which is the “11th Hour” was screened at the IDEA Resource Center, which is based at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Thursday. The movie screening was followed by a forty-five-minute discussion on environmental problems that exist both in Azerbaijan and in the world.

The documentary 11th Hour is a work in which useful information on elimination of the global warming threat that exists in the world, the methods of restoring the ecosystem of the planet is collected. The film also highlights the importance of new technologies for sustainable development programs, support biodiversity and neutralization of waste.
