Eurovision 2012: All is set in Baku for Eurovision
Baku, May 11 (AZERTAC). The majestic 2012 Eurovision host city Baku is all set and geared up to host the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, according to esctoday.com. The city has been specially dressed up for the ocassion, with most landmarks being lit up with special lights and special effects. You will be pleasantly surprised to see how Baku has been adorned with flowers in order to welcome delegations, press and media.
Visitors coming to Baku will be startled and mesmerised with it, specialy at night when the city will be all lit up in true regal and majestic style. Most famous landmarks will be fully lit up with lights and special effects. The famous Flame Towers will be treating all visitors to an extraordinary display of lights with special effects, thus even depicting the fire and flames from the Land of Fire. The 2012 Eurovision venue the Crystal Arena is also lit up depicting the national colours of Azerbaijan. Baku will be feast for your eyes both during the day and at night.
The city has been decorated and adorned specially for the Eurovision Song Contest with flowers, emblems and those coming to Baku will be able to enjoy the warm weather and true Eurovision spirit. The Seaside Promenade is completely ready and runs from the Ferry Terminal until the Flag Square with beautiful panormanic scenic views of the city.
On the eve of the contest Baku is being dressed for the big show. Shining "Eurovision hearts" are being installed in the territory of Baku Crystal Hall and in different parts of the city. These "Eurovision hearts" adds an extra beauty to Baku nights.
