Missiles fired from Armenia into Mingachevir intercepted

Azerbaijan`s missile defence system has intercepted missiles fired from Armenia into Mingachevir, Azerbaijan`s largest industrial city, targeting Mingachevir Hydro Power Station, the largest such station in the South Caucasus.
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the Armenian armed forces fired missiles Sunday at 4.00am Baku time.
Mingachevir is located more than 100 km far from the conflict zone.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
