14 THOUSAND PEOPLE EMPLOYED IN BTC CONSTRUCTION
The main export pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan is the century’s biggest construction, head of the International Operating Company David Woodward told AzerTAj correspondent. Over 14 thousand people from 17 countries are engaged in the construction of the 1760-km long pipeline. 3500 people are working in the Azerbaijani stretch of the pipeline, most of them are Azerbaijan nationals.
