Azerbaijani PM, Turkish vice president hold phone talk
Baku, February 7, AZERTAC
Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov has had a telephone conversation with Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye Fuat Oktay.
During the telephone conversation, PM Ali Asadov extended his deep condolences to Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay over the heavy casualties caused by a strong earthquake in south-eastern Türkiye, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay highly appreciated the solidarity of brotherly Azerbaijan with Turkey at this difficult time, and expressed his gratitude for the continuous assistance provided by Azerbaijan in order to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake, as well as for the support for the search and rescue operations carried out in the quake-hit area.
