CENTRAL ELECTION COMMISSION OF THE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN REPORTS
Secretary of the commission Ingilab Nasirov made a report on confirmation of explanations of control revision service of district election commission on specification of voters’ register. These documents were adopted taking into account the offers.
Secretary of the Central Election Commission Vidady Makhmudov announced on confirmation of the list of documents, submitted to district elections commission for registration of monitors and explanation of rules of monitoring on behalf of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan at their own initiative. The commission passed these documents after considering offers.
Information on registration of agents of registered Presidential contender Lala-Shovkat Hajiyeva - Huseynaga Jamshid Aliyev, Samedov Rakhman Alovsat oglu, Salmanov Bahadur Jamshid oglu, Shirinova Zumrud Soltan gizi. The issue has been resolved positively.
Further, deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission, Svetlana Gasimova and secretary of CEC Vidady Makhmudov made an announcement on introduction of changes into the membership of some district election commissions, the session decided to introduce changes into the membership of district election commissions.
In addition, the session considered applications and complaints received by the CEC.
The Commission put on discussion the incident taken place on September 6 at “round table”, on free TV air given to Presidential contenders on Azerbaijan National TV. The members of CEC condemned this incident and decided to address the registered contenders on non-acceptance of such fact in future.
Member of the Central Electoral Commission Azer Tagiyev acquainted the participants of the session with draft appeal of CEC to mass media. Members of the commission voted for adoption of this appeal.
