ANKARA HOSTS CONFERENCE ON TURKEY-AZERBAIJAN RELATIONSHIP
Ankara, November 13 (AZERTAC). A conference dealing with Turkey-Azerbaijan relations was held at the 21st Century Turkey Institute in Ankara.
A presentation of the book titled “Alibey Huseynzade Turan” was held prior to the conference. The authors of the book are MP Ganira Pashayeva, chairperson of the Milli Majlis human rights commission Rabiyyat Aslanova and researcher Feyzar Alpsar.
Ganira Pashayeva delivered a report “Occupation of Azerbaijani lands and its grave consequences”. She told of the aggressive policy pursued by Armenians against Turks for centuries and hardships Azerbaijan faced.
Professor Ibrahim Yildirim, Rector of the 21st Century Turkey Institute in Ankara Umid Ozdag touched on Armenia`s aggression against Azerbaijan and its impact on Turkey-Armenia relations. They stressed Armenia-Turkey border may not be opened and Turkish parliament will not ratify Turkey-Armenia protocols until Armenia leave occupied lands of Azerbaijan.
Rabiyyat Aslanova and Ganira Pashayeva appeared on Turkey`s Flash TV channel to comment on Azerbaijan`s stance on the ongoing processes in the region
