Azerbaijan Army holds training-methodical session with military lawyers

According to the action plan for 2025, a training-methodical session was held with lawyers of the types of troops (forces), main departments, army corps and formations, chiefs and investigators of investigative services (units) of the Azerbaijan Army, as well as officers of the Legal Department, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan told AZERTAC.
The session began with commemorating the bright memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Shehids who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was then performed.
Chief of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Defense, Justice Major General Elchin Aliyev, delivered detailed information on the measures taken to further improve the social and living conditions of servicemen, as well as the work carried out to update legislative acts in the Azerbaijan Army in line with the requirements of the Ministry’s leadership. He also underlined efforts to reinforce discipline in military units, prevent legal violations, organize legal and international humanitarian law training for servicemen, and develop draft legal documents.
The session, aimed at improving the knowledge and skills of participants in the organization of legal training and studying the requirements of legislation and guiding documents, featured in-depth discussions on the effective application of adopted legal documents in service processes, tasks ahead, and future plans in the relevant field. Participants’ questions were also answered.
