AZERBAIJAN, AUSTRIA: EDUCATIONAL RELATIONS EXPANDING
Rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), Chairman of the Committee for international and interparliamentary relations of Milli Majlis, Vice President of PACE Samad Seyidov met with Austrian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Marius Kalligaris.
The sides touched on Austria-Azerbaijan relations, region`s integration to Europe, the country`s education system and relations between the Universities.
Mr. Seyidov praised relationship between the two countries. Rector said Austrian center is functioning under the AUL. Seyidov underlined AUL has established close ties with three Universities of Austria. Links in education area between Azerbaijan and Austria have to be an example for other countries, Samad Seyidov added.
Mr. Kalligaris praised rapid development of all areas in Azerbaijan, including economy. He expressed his confidence relations between Azerbaijan and Austria would be further expanded.
“Great changes have taken place in Baku. The city has become beautiful over the recent years”, Ambassador said.
