Azerbaijan-Germany trade `totaled` 15b euros last year

Baku, August 28 (AZERTAC). “The bilateral trade between Azerbaijan and Germany amounted to 1.5 billion euros in 2011,” Florian Schroeder, an executive director of the German-Azerbaijani Economic Society (DAWF), told the 14th German-Azerbaijan business forum in Baku.

He said the trade and economic relations between the two countries` were developing dynamically.

Shroeder added: “Azerbaijan is the seventh main supplier of oil to Germany, and it also supplies agricultural products. The export potential of Azerbaijan is wide. At the same time, Azerbaijan imported goods worth 900 million euros, including cars, spare parts, chemicals and other products from Germany."
