‘Azerbaijan has fruitful cooperation with European structures’
Baku, April 19 (AZERTAC). New Azerbaijan Party`s Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary, MP Ali Ahmadov has hailed Azerbaijan`s relations with European structures.
“Azerbaijan has fruitful cooperation with European structures. This cooperation has been strengthening as part of Eastern Partnership program.”
Ahmadov said, however, “we need to strengthen relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union even more”.
He also commented on the adoption by the European Parliament of a resolution on the negotiations on the Associative Agreement between Azerbaijan and the European Union.
Ahmadov called the resolution an “historic milestone”. “The adoption of this resolution will give a push to expanding Azerbaijan`s cooperation with European structures.”
“In the last few years Azerbaijan has proved itself as a reliable partner for European countries. This is the reason behind the signing of this resolution,” New Azerbaijan Party`s Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary added.
