Azerbaijan, Korea sign agreement on economic cooperation
Baku, August 29 (AZERTAC). An agreement on economic cooperation has been signed between the Governments of Azerbaijan and South Korea.
The agreement was signed by Azerbaijan`s Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev and Korean Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lee Ji Ha.
The agreement envisages expansion of the cooperation in various spheres of the economy, including agriculture, fisheries, mining, energy, information communication technologies, tourism and transport, as well as establishment of a joint intergovernmental commission.
Mustafayev briefed the ambassador on Azerbaijan`s economy, the country`s reforms and achievements. He noted that reciprocal visits by the two countries` presidents gave a push to developing the bilateral cooperation.
Mustafayev said there were real opportunities for expanding the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Korea.
The Korean ambassador stressed his country`s interest in strengthening economic cooperation with Azerbaijan. He expressed confidence in development of trade and economic relations between the two countries.
