Azerbaijan Medical University and Yozgat Bozok University sign MoU

Rector of Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU) Garay Garaybayli met with Rector of Yozgat Bozok University of Türkiye Evren Yaşar.
Garaybayli discussed the consistent measures and achievements aimed at strengthening educational cooperation between the two brotherly nations. He also highlighted the promising prospects for further expanding ties between the educational institutions of both states.f
Evren Yaşar touched upon the close collaboration between Azerbaijani and Turkish universities, noting the mutual interest in deepening relations in this field.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation opportunities between the two higher education institutions in scientific research, education, and innovation. The parties evaluated prospects for academic and student exchanges, the implementation of joint scientific projects, the organization of conferences and symposia, and the sharing of advanced medical practices and expertise.
Following the discussions, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation was signed between Azerbaijan Medical University and Yozgat Bozok University. Aimed at fostering new development opportunities for both institutions, the memorandum covers collaboration in conducting joint scientific research, applying modern teaching methodologies, and exploring innovative medical technologies.
The document also outlines various directions for cooperation, including the expansion of faculty and student exchange programs, the development of joint educational curricula, and the enhancement of professional development opportunities.
This memorandum will significantly contribute to accelerating the exchange of knowledge and experience between the parties, improving the quality of medical education, applying scientific results to practical healthcare, and training qualified specialists in the region.
