Azerbaijan, South African Republic discuss business relations
Baku, April 28 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani ambassador to the South African Republic (SAR) Elkhan Polukhov has given an interview to the Die Burger newspaper and Media 24 in Cape Town.
In his interview, the ambassador highlighted the ongoing economic reforms in Azerbaijan, business projects, relations between Azerbaijan and the South African Republic, prospects for bilateral economic cooperation and Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
Then, Polukhov made a presentation in the Cape Town Chamber of Commerce on the economic state of Azerbaijan.
Chief of the Chamber Arifa Parker said the presentation would play important role in establishment of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the South African Republic.
The Azerbaijani ambassador spoke of economic indicators, business and investment potential of his country.
Polukhov proposed establishing close business ties between Azerbaijan and Chamber, adding necessary legislative opportunities were created for this in his country.
They also exchanged views on business opportunities of both countries.
Members of the Chamber, representatives of companies attended the event.
