Azerbaijan to inquire about Uruguay Minister`s statements
Baku, May 5 (AZERTAC). The Armenian media reports suggest Foreign Minister of Uruguay Luis Almagro as part of his Armenia visit stated that Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should be settled peacefully and on the basis of the right of nations to self-determination. “The future of “people of Karabakh” linked with Armenia,” said the Minister and underlined that violation of a ceasefire regime is unacceptable.
Azerbaijan`s Foreign Ministry spokesman Elman Abdullayev said that the Azerbaijani Ministry tries to find out if the information is true or not. The Armenian media outlets tend to distort the statements made by the foreign visitors in some cases, and spread false information.
The Azerbaijan`s embassy in Argentina was assigned to once more inquire about Uruquay`s official stance on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. After receiving official information, the Ministry will state its position and begin a diplomatic attack.
The Ministry will also response if Armenia exaggerated what Uraguay`s Minister said and tried to mislead the world community,
